Old Order Must Die

The Old Order Must Die is a bold, rebellious pop-surreal print in which Benjamin Franklin—an emblem of old-world authority—is reimagined as a chaotic comic-book hero. With a Captain America mask, fragmented vintage panels, and bursts of color colliding with historical gravitas, the work becomes a satirical statement on culture, identity, and the icons we choose to elevate.
Printed as a fine art giclée, the edition preserves every ink line, comic fragment, and layered visual “noise” with archival clarity. Loud, political, and sharply funny, it carries Hande Ugur’s signature visual language—history remixed with superhero mythology, and the old order ending with a smile.
