In HOPE, Hande Ugur transforms iconic smiley faces, retro characters, cartoons, and cultural symbols into a bold visual explosion—hand-painted with her signature neo-pop attitude. From the purple smiley pattern to the layered figures and ironic mini-scenes, every element is painted by hand, building a vibrant, textural surface that radiates energy and humor.
Mounted on a solid board for a clean, gallery-quality finish, the work blends contemporary cultural commentary with playful neon optimism—a loud, bright pop-art interpretation of hope in a chaotic world.
