Choose Wisely Snow
£1,200.00
15.75 × 15.75 in | 40 × 40 cm | Hand-painted acrylic on canvas (Handecular)
Choose Wisely Snow reimagines the Snow White myth through choice, temptation, and self-determination. As you move in front of the piece, the image shifts: from one angle, Snow White is encircled by glossy red apples—symbols of expectation, pressure, and the familiar narrative she is “meant” to follow. From another, the apples disappear and a hamburger takes their place—an unapologetically modern decision, playful and disarmingly human.
Hand-painted on canvas and mounted on board, the work becomes a visual reminder that meaning is never fixed; it changes with perspective—literally. The Handecular transition sets up a quiet dialogue between tradition and individuality, obedience and freedom, myth and modern life. Humorous and visually striking, Choose Wisely Snow invites the viewer to question inherited stories—and to celebrate the power of choosing differently.
